Okay, we totally dropped the ball on info on World’s AIDS Day events going on today, but as a shot at redemption, I’ll be tirelessly advertising Shopping With Friends. This year’s event is next Saturday, Dec. 8. Over 100 stores will be involved, giving 10 percent of their sales directly to Lowcountry AIDS Services.
There will be a kick-off cocktail party at Saks Fifth Avenue on Friday, Dec. 7 from 6-8 p.m. The shopping starts Saturday with the champagne brunch at the Renaissance Charleston Hotel on Wentworth.
