It’s recently come out that the Westboro Baptist Church (the scary Kansas church who pickets the funerals of fallen soldiers because of America’s “tolerance” for gays) has written an open letter to Republican presidential candidate, Fred Thompson. It turns out that in the mid 80s these two parties just happened to get together and share their thoughts with each other. And guess what…. They agreed on quite a bit.
”We know what your position used to be on the homosexual question — and it was wonderful, and we saw eye to eye.”
Well, needless to say, Fred Thompson’s camp is doing their dead best to distance themselves from these right wing lunatics. But hey…. I think you’d agree…. Once a gay basher, always a gay basher. Fred Thompson’s politics and policies might win him a prime time spot on Fox News, but this guy has no business anywhere near the White House. Go back to Law and Order, Fred…. You’re in way over your head.
